Walking in faith isn’t always easy — but God didn’t call us to live quietly or shrink back in fear. He called us to live boldly, with courage, confidence, and conviction.
Living boldly in Christ means trusting His word, stepping into purpose, and shining your light even when the world feels dark. These five scriptures remind us that we can depend on God to guide us in sharing His promises.
1. Joshua 1:9 (BSB)
“Have I not commanded you to be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
God doesn’t simply suggest courage — He commands it. Why? Because His presence guarantees victory. When you know God walks with you, fear loses its power.
2. 2 Timothy 1:7
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
Fear is not from God — power is. Love is. Peace is.
Living boldly means rejecting fear and embracing the strength God already placed inside of you.
3. Proverbs 28:1
“The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion.”
Bold like a lion — not timid, not uncertain, not hidden.
When your heart walks in righteousness, you walk with heaven-given confidence. Your boldness isn’t arrogance — it’s God-powered assurance.
4. Ephesians 3:12
“In him and through faith in him we may enter God's presence with boldness and confidence.”
Bold living starts with bold access to God.
You’re not timid in prayer. You’re not unsure of your place. Christ gives you permission to stand confidently before God — and confidently in the world.
5. Isaiah 41:10 (BSB)
“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will surely help you; I will uphold you with My right hand of righteousness.”
God doesn’t just tell you to be bold — He equips you to be bold.
He strengthens you, protects you, and holds you up when you grow tired.
You're never fighting alone.
