5 Bible Verses That Address Worrying

God does not want us to live weighed down by worry. Instead, He invites us to bring every concern to Him. No problem is too big or too small for God — what matters most is that we trust Him enough to place it all in His hands.

Here are 5 scriptures to help when worry tries to take over.

1. Philippians 4:6-7

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

2. Psalm 55:22

“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken."

3. John 14:27

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”

4. 2 Timothy 1:7

“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”

5. Hebrews 13:6

“So we can confidently say, "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?”

No matter what you’re facing today, remember this: God already knows, God already cares, and God is already working. Let these scriptures be a reminder that peace is not found in having all the answers, but in trusting the One who holds them.
